Jivan Joti Kaur is a psychologist and has been a kundalini yoga teacher/trainer for many years. She has written several books and the most recent is her book ‘Dying Into Life’ which can be read separately and will accompany this training. Her deep wisdom, knowledge on this topic, compassion and her presence make this a transformational training.

There are three levels to The Dying Into Life Journey training. They include:
THESE TRAININGS ARE PRESENTLY ONLINE ZOOM PLATEFORM
LEVEL ONE TRAINING – “MY JOURNEY HOME”
This training explores the personal experience and the relationship with dying and death. The topics covered, such as Jiwan Mukht (liberated while yet alive), Karma, Dharma and Reincarnation, types of deaths and rehearsing death and more guide the participant through the journey’s joys, griefs, forgiveness and transformation in a very intimate way.
| PRE-REQUISITE | · Be a level 1 KRI certified Kundalini yoga teacher or
· By letter of recommendation for a committed student from a KRI certified teacher |

| DURATION | 6 months |
| CONTENT CLASS HOURS | 14 classes held, generally, every 2 weeks on a specific day and time – approximately 65 hours |
| SUPPORT GROUP | The participants organize, with their pre-determined team’s members when to meet. The group will meet the weeks in between the class sessions |
| REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION | · Participate in all classes and support group meetings
· Actively be present during classes · Complete the home study assignments · Write a paper on ‘Rewriting your Story’ and its submission to DILJ Team and brief presentation during a designated class |

LEVEL TWO TRAINING – “END OF LIFE DOULA & DEATH EDUCATOR”
This training focuses on two streams at the same time – End of Life Doula (EOLD) & Death Educator.
EOLD focuses on the use of the teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, to accompany the dying and their loved one. The participants will delve into the subjects of conscious communication and listening, setting boundaries and the ‘Savior Syndrome, curing & healing, sitting in Shuniya and special related topics like medical aid in dying. They will learn to apply the Four Phases of Awareness to the person dying’s experience.
The Death Educator (DE) helps to create a new relationship with death for themselves and for other through workshops, presentations, trainings and one-on-one conversations. As the participants explore the different topics, it becomes easier to talk about death – it is no longer a taboo word and subject. Death is the greatest teacher for a full life. As fear is released, participants uncover their abilities to live their passions and dreams.
This is a very intimate and interactive training where class times include in-depth discussions, processing and embodying the information through the lens of a EOL Doula/Death Educator.

| CONTENT CLASS HOURS | 16 classes held, generally, every 2 weeks on a specific day and time – approximately 75 hours |
| SUPPORT GROUP | The participants organize, with their pre-determined team’s members when to meet. The group will meet the weeks in between the class sessions |
| REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION | · Participate in all classes and support group meetings
· Actively be present during classes · Complete the home study assignments · Write a paper on a specially selected topic and its submission to DILJ Team and brief presentation to the DILJ Team. The participant will be guided and mentored by its process. |

LEVEL THREE “TRAIN THE TRAINER”
This training is for graduates of DILJ Levels 1&2 who wish to teach and train others. It provides the necessary skills to develop the caliber to the deliver the teachings through the lens of Death and Dying.
Level 3 trainer-students would be teaching topics under mentorship for level 1 and level 2.

| CONTENT CLASS HOURS | Depending on which level that the trainer-student would be teaching – Level 1 or Level 2 |
| SUPPORT GROUP | The participants would meet with their mentor during the weeks in between the class sessions |
| REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION | · Participate in all classes and support group meetings
· Receive feedback from mentor. · Write a paper on a selected topic or a reflection paper on their experience as a trainer. |
